Address: No. 231, Mirdamad Blvd. Tehran, Iran MAPNA Generator Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARS) was established in 1998 with the objective of transferring technology of construction and manufacturing thermal power plant generators (up to 160 MW), water plant generators (up to 250 MWs), and power plant bus-ducts.
MAPNA’s journey began in August 1993 under the title “Iran Power Plant Projects Management Company”, initially serving as a general contractor for power plant projects under turnkey schemes. Over time, MAPNA evolved from a sole contractor in the 1990s and licensed producer in the 2000s to a technology owner in the 2010s.
In 2018, the company became one of the first Iranian contractors to qualify for oil exploration and development. It secured an agreement with the Oil Ministry to develop and operate Danan, Parsi, and Paranj oilfields in Iran’s Khuzestan Province. In the rail transportation market, MAPNA has emerged as a key player.

The global energy storage battery cabinet market is experiencing unprecedented growth, with demand increasing by over 500% in the past three years. Battery cabinet storage solutions now account for approximately 60% of all new commercial and residential solar installations worldwide. North America leads with 48% market share, driven by corporate sustainability goals and federal investment tax credits that reduce total system costs by 35-45%. Europe follows with 40% market share, where standardized cabinet designs have cut installation timelines by 75% compared to traditional solutions. Asia-Pacific represents the fastest-growing region at 60% CAGR, with manufacturing innovations reducing battery cabinet system prices by 30% annually. Emerging markets are adopting cabinet storage for residential energy independence, commercial peak shaving, and emergency backup, with typical payback periods of 2-4 years. Modern cabinet installations now feature integrated systems with 5kWh to multi-megawatt capacity at costs below $400/kWh for complete energy storage solutions.
Technological advancements are dramatically improving solar power generation performance while reducing costs for residential and commercial applications. Next-generation solar panel efficiency has increased from 15% to over 22% in the past decade, while costs have decreased by 85% since 2010. Advanced microinverters and power optimizers now maximize energy harvest from each panel, increasing system output by 25% compared to traditional string inverters. Smart monitoring systems provide real-time performance data and predictive maintenance alerts, reducing operational costs by 40%. Battery storage integration allows solar systems to provide backup power and time-of-use optimization, increasing energy savings by 50-70%. These innovations have improved ROI significantly, with residential solar projects typically achieving payback in 4-7 years and commercial projects in 3-5 years depending on local electricity rates and incentive programs. Recent pricing trends show standard residential systems (5-10kW) starting at $15,000 and commercial systems (50kW-1MW) from $75,000, with flexible financing options including PPAs and solar loans available.
